Mahabang kwento, mahabang araw. We started at 10AM, Choi have thought of rain, and it DID hehehe! We let it pass by for quite sometime in Intramuros. We headed to MOA for our late lunch then Baclaran in the afternoon. Btw, Baclaran Church is a significant place for the couple. We took shots of a traditional Baclaran devotee, galing. Then off to Baywalk for the sunset shot and finally to Timezone MOA for their requested Mariokart series. Afterwards, Choi and Maien treated us to a friendly bowling game hehehe, asteeeeeeeeeg. We should do this more often, Jo Anne!

We head early to checkout Our Lady of Lourdes Parish for Regie & Vange (and upcoming Bugi & Lara’s saturday wedding), FYI, our April 26 and May 3 wedding takes place at Lourdes Church in Tagaytay. It’ll be our first time to cover there and we had a chance for an ocular before Regie and Vange prenups. Anyways, it was nice to see both couple posted on the church Marriage Banns hehehe, asteeeeeeeeg. Some photos of the church:

Down with the prenups. We had a minor glitch at Nurture Spa hehe, Vange/Reg car automatically got locked from inside only a few seconds when they went out. It somehow made a worried face out of the couple making a minimal distraction heading into the engagement shoot. It was quickly resolved though and we totally forgot it during lunch time. Anyway, we all enjoyed the afternoon of pictorials. We went to Nasugbu around 4pm to catch the sunset shot at the beach. Here are some of the photos:
The smiles. =)
Vange look.
Some details by Jo Anne, ahem ahem.

Back to regular programming hehe. Here we have the original Redefine Weddings take of casual, spontaneous, and candid prenup portraits. The comfortable feel, fun, and all smiles photos with the natural color output. =)
On the way to Ecopark, sa lalim na rin siguro ng iniisip ko, and since Zeb was in the hospital, I left my CF cards at home. Bloopers! Nakakahiya kay Agnes! Good thing that she’s into photography (fellow Jedi slash Canon user) she had her 2 Gig card with her. So while Jo Anne gets my CF’s, we started shooting already, sayang din kasi ang oras. It was a long playful afternoon at Ecopark, nice to meet Clyde na sobrang cowboy! We all shared laughs throughout the shoot. Here are some of the photos:
Super SATURATED photo, medyo marami na kasi akong nakikitang desaturated. =)
The candids in B&W.
Blur blurs.
Wrestling, ganyan daw talaga sila!
Again, super saturated photo.
Some details.
We missed her requested Rock Climbing shots, honestly, hindi ko na po alam kung nasaan sa Ecopark yung sports activity na yun. Hindi din naman namin nakita while were inside the park, so our alternative was the jumping fight scenes. I edited the photos less saturated with the Lucis effect. Ang kulit! =)
It was stomach-full engagement session with Migs and Ems. They really treated the shoot as parang pasyal lang hehehe. It was filled with smiles & laughter all afternoon long. Btw, I just browsed their wedsite earlier today with the lines “A story so compelling, a tale worth telling…” Anyhoo, I found out that Migs is a fellow ADB’er and we had a nice chat of me reminiscing my ADB days. Here are some of the shots, enjoy!

Preps: Taal Vista Hotel
Ceremony: Taal Vista Hotel
Reception: Taal Vista Hotel
Christine booked us about 2 weeks ago, they just arrived from UK. They got married last August (in England) and just renewed their vows here in the Philippines. She got the basic one-photographer package as she told me it would just be a simple event and more of a wedding party. I got Jo Anne to work as my second lensman hehe. It was a ‘bloody’ sunny day over at Taal Vista and we were covering the wedding on broad daylight. We had a good time though, the photos were more on candids and it was pretty ‘lovely’ that they were all smiles. Click on the slideshow below.

Videographer: Phoeben Teocson (Playback)

OTD: An Event to Remember
The most stunning opening number we’ve seen by far! Yes, we were commissioned to do a very special AVP that was shown during their introduction at the reception party. They already have a main photographer, Paul and Ayvih (Paul Vincent Photograhpy) and we were only tagged to do their onsite slideshow. I must say the most challenged onsite we’ve made by far. It was such a big production, close coordination with Clarice (An Event to Remember) and Elmer Bautista (Rejekt Crew).
Our bride, Rea, had prepared a storyboard for their slideshow wherein photos will appear timely and come the song’s high note — 3rd chorus, the couple would then make their way to the dance floor highlighting their first dance. The hard part for me was (1) getting good shots that will blend with the music; (2) picking the photos timely; and (3) that it should be shown at exactly 6:30 PM start of reception. During the slow 3rd chorus, “I wonder what God was thinking, when he created you…” the couple enters slowly black screen (approx 22 seconds) with a billboard “Let us welcome, Mr. and Mrs. Kendrick and Rea Anne Koa” and by the time of the high note, “He must have heard every prayer I’ve been…” spotlights were turned ON and they started the first dance. Honestly, all the guests and even us suppliers were blown away by their first dance! Na-surprise mo kami Rea and Ken hehehe!
Here is the video. We have included the actual footage of the first dance as provided by Bim and Gen (Phoeben Teocson Videography) for everyone to see the effect. It was a one-of-a-kind opening number. Galing!
Please bear with the buffer/loading, we uploaded a hi-resolution video to maintain the quality of the photos. Tip: Play and Pause first and wait for the video to load completely before playing, it may take a while. For quick loading versions, check the versions we uploaded at Multiply and Youtube. Again, the video clip of their first dance were credits to “Charming Bim” a.k.a. Phoeben Teocson. =)
