While thinking of a song for their online slideshow, I’ve heard the “Bubbly” song on the radio and I believe it felt right for the couple, in a sense, that Jardine and Fatima, both bunso in their families, finally tied the knot. It was an emotional moment seeing both their mother’s teary eyed and happy witnessing their youngest son and daughter get married.

Enjoy the day! =)

Lovely gown.

Anyway, here are some photos from the reception:

Eric and Liv’s wedding is just around the corner but we’ve decided to go for a second prenups. It was our second time at Lakeshore, and they gave us a souvenir Lakeshore cap, asteeeeeeeeeeeg hehehe. Anyway, the shots were something new, as I am not used to incorporate fashion/glam portraits in our engagement sessions. Our target were mostly wide shots, not looking at the camera, left foot forward, etc etc. Here are some of the shots. Liv, enjoy!

Kakapanibago noh?

Striking sun!

Asteeeeegens!

Game na game ang models namin!

Kahit mainit ang araw.

Yes yes sa Lakeshore yan!

Humirit ako ng isang closeup. =)

The kiss.

Lakeshore silhoutte sa tanghaling tapat.

Our sunset.

Our wedding for Sunday, Wilson and Janine. Janine was my constant ym buddy since they’ve booked us for their wedding. We had the first prenups in one unfortunate rainy afternoon, totally a scary one as Janine got a very lonely face. Anyway, we then offered a second prenups just last week at Baywalk (buti na lang hindi Glorietta hehe). In reward, we got a very dramatic sunset to compliment Janine’s fairy tale wish of a silhoutte shot. Here are some of the pictures:

Fiery sunset.

Our silhoutte shot.

Near CCP - Roxas Blvd.

Wilson joking and cheering up Janine at Ecopark.

Jumpin’ shot.

Saw Jezreel using the running water for video, I stood beside. =)

We had a quick engagement sessions, they were leaving again for singapore the next day and they might not have the time when they come home May 2008 for their wedding. Anyway, we scheduled for a morning shoot at Ecopark. Ivan (their kid) was very energetic after celebrating his 5th birthday the previous day. We had a fun pasyal prenups. Here are some of the photos:

Family portrait.

Weeeeeeeee!

Asteeeeg! We bagged the 1st place for prenup category (non-WPPP members), sponsored by Canon. The other entries were stunning and Jo Anne and I did not expect to win. Hands off to Mikhail Arrogante from Cebu City for the other great prenup photos. Asteeeeg ser! Salamat ulit WPPP!

God is good. What a good start, receiving a recognition on our rookie year uplifts our work dedication. As I’ve mentioned before, we are nobody in the industry, just a bunch of guys trying to start our own wedding photography gig.

Flattered to see the photo displayed at the Canon booth. =)
Anyway, picture picture with the idols!

Master Photographer Martin Schembri from Australia.

With Dino Lara, I was happy to hear that Sir Dino had learned about me from Ms. Benz of W@W. Anyway, hearing him talk earlier was like an inspiration booster. Asteeeeeg!

Jason Magbanua, rock on!

Another idol, Randall of Mangored. Asteeeeeg!

One lucky guy! =)

Our group pic.

Lastly, many thanks to my w@wie couple, Archie and Janet, for the opportunity.

What are the odds? My first tukayo groom, Jayson, also spelled J-A-Y-S-O-N. Everytime Pizza calls him, I can’t help but turn my head as I heard I was called hehe. Anyway, our first time at Lakeshore, Pampanga. The weather did cooperate, umulan ng konti pero dumaan lang, luckily! We then had a lot of interesting clouds on the background. Pizza and Jayson got very comfortable infront of the camera and were “game” the entire shoot. Salamat sa opportunity! Pizzi, alam ko excited ka na to see the pictures, here are some of the shots:

Lakeshore.

Smiles.

We got a nicely-colored-bike to match the shot.

Everyone does the so called “SSP” - “Sariling Sikap Pictures”.

One word, asteeeeeeeeeeeg!

Shot at f/14’s @ 1/160 secs with two 580ex’s at manual 1/2 power. We believe that if you want to capture the blueeish sky at broad sunlight you’ve got to have that massive flash power output. Hmmmmm… we should buy one of those photons. =)

That prenup mood.

Reflections.

Look far.

Lakeshore biking.

Lakeshore lighthouse.

Jumpshot.

The kiss.

Our silhoutte.

Last shot. =)

Asteeeeeg! My first try at trash the dress. Kristine opened up the idea and I quickly agreed with a big grin on my face. We headed to La Luz in San Juan, Batangas. It was raining hard throughout the long drive to La Luz and Jo Anne and I were worried that it may spoil our shoot. We started around 4pm, all dark clouds but without rain hehe. We took a few portraits and then stood beside the raging waves for our wet the dress portion. I got inlove with how the clouds formed in the background, I knew in an instant it would add drama to the photos. Anyway, here are some of the shots:

Warming up. =)

My veil shot.

Removed the veil and dipped into the water.

Warmly hug.

Me whispering… “Eyes here.”

Me whispering… “Look at each other.”

Me whispering… “Kiss.”

Executed my CLS nicely!

Trash the dress.

Silhoutte.

No sunset, but we’ll take it!

Night falls.
