My better-half (Jo Anne) is now full-time on Redefine Weddings. She just quit her dayjob last month asteeeg! We are officially a husband-wife combo. She is incharge of the admin responsibilities besides being my full-time assistant. Also, she is starting into photography as my new jedi apprentice. Got her hooked also! So far it’s been great. We get to be a tandem by occupation and we are enjoying every bit of moment we share. =)
Yesterday we were fortunate to have worked with (the other jason hehe) the award-winning Jason Magbanua. I had to introduce Jo Anne coz we really are avid fans, seriously! We add traffic to his website by always checking out his blog, we are such suckers of his onsite videos. My wife and I have this fantasy talk that if ever we’ll be married again, who will be our photo-video? Tough question since we belong in the industry. For video no question, Jason Magbanua (with ofcourse budget never an issue hehe). We both love his videos. [for photo hmmm… it might be Nelwin with Mimi and Karl as backups wishful thinking hehe]. Anyway, seeing Jason work his magic (we’re not worthy!) was inspiring. He shoots very quietly, truly a “candid ninja master” and then sits hard on his same-day-edit (onsite) video. Starstruck? cheesy as it may sound but we never had a chance to see him work live until yesterday. Asteeeeeg ka ser!
Btw, thanks Paul for the opportunity. Nice working with you again. More power bro!

Since our singapore prenups, Jo Anne and I made a stronger bond with Faye & Rommel, another cool couple. Faye calls my wife “mommy Jo” now hehehe. I guess friendship is another thing we gain from weddings. Eventually all our couples got to be our barkadas (forget about the term supplier-to-client). Being friends, its work much easier. You get to feel and understand the couple. The treatment of covering their wedding as our own makes us work even harder(that’s 110% of dedication). At the end of the day, we’re happy knowing they’re happy. Hearing how much the couple appreciates our work, priceless. =)
We had our prenups at Ayala Westgrove Heights in Sta. Rosa, another whopping Ayala Land property. Adding to Bim’s post, yes it’s our second time to work with the Bim-Chester duo. It was a good getting-to-know experience also with Dave and Ebeth around. We had a fun afternoon of teasing, with the Playback blockmates as recipients. Anyway, here are some of the photos:
Ebeth, backup na lang ba kami? hehehe. =)

Love the smiles!

Bro, ano yun?

Steep slope.

Standout.

The “e-ring”.

One of many perks of doing their website, free gigs and concert. I got a backstage pass and a license to shoot wooohoooo! Security thought I was a joke as I’ve tried to muscle my way infront without an ID, late kasi! Jo Anne and I almost got thrown out. Anyway, halfway through, I still manage to sneak-in and get some photos. I am a fan for 13 years now, being there with the huge crowd was such a great experience! Btw, they’ll be starting their Ordertaker US Tour next week with Kamikazee. Gigsked here.

Asteeeeg!
