Ives and May, one of many abroad-based w@wie couples that I will cover. When they arrive, we scheduled for a short getting-to-know each other meeting which what we normally do with out-of-the-country couples before going for the actual prenup shoot. This is to get acquainted with the soon to be weds and finally to meet the persons behind the emails and the YMs hehehe. Anyway, we headed to The Greenery in Bulacan for our prenups. It was again a cloudy afternoon with mild rain showers (hehe parang weather reporter) but we enjoyed the shoot. They were instantly very comfortable and easy to work with, right May? Anyway, here are some of the photos:

Sweet smiles.

Blur-blur.

They got comfortable very quickly.

The “e-ring”.

Prenup portrait.

Greenery ride.

Make faces!

Before dark.

Our last shot. =)

Fresh from our Pinatubo prenups, we headed to MMLDC for Kenneth and Janet’s prenup. Started around 2 PM on a cloudy holiday afternoon. Rain didn’t fell though, fortunately! Anyway, the shoot went smoothly, Ken and Janet were all smiles and it was easy placing them into that prenup mood. Janet wished for a sunset shot but it never happened. We then focused on finding new creative shots as we walk around the location. Here are some of the photos. =)

I made sure we use their Meralco umbrella as props. =)

The Rainforest.

The “N” smiles.

And all smiles.

We saw the old train inside.

Caught this one. =)

Caution.

Letting them do their stuff.

My water reflection shot (post-processed).

The pinatubo getaway. Call time is 3:00 AM at Victory Liner, Pasay. We took the bus ride for Dagupan. We arrived at Capaz, Tarlac at around 5:30 AM, ate breakfast and bought packed lunch at Chowking. 7 AM we rode a 45-minute ride to Sta. Juliana, Tarlac. From Sta. Juliana we transferred to the 4×4’s. Harold registered our names over the station and we had a very quick talk with “Major” giving very brief instructions about the trek. Trek is not so friendly this time of the year because it was rainy season. Basically he advised us to be careful and stayput if ever a hard rain will fall.

Registration.

9 AM. Start of the one-hour-plus 4×4 trek. We rode with Harold and Tetet while their friends on the other 4×4. It was one enjoyable ride!

Did a few photo opp before starting the trek.

Very fresh pa kami dito.

Start of the 4-hour trek, Tetet looks worried.

Trekmates.

It was a semi-dangerous trek.

But it was worth it!

My panoramic shot, cloudy afternoon and no blue sky, but I’ll take it!

Hitting the campsite, we immediatly layed the tents. It was about to rain.

Before dark, we went down to take some prenup portraits.

The crater up close.

The water was actually greenish.

Hold on.

The next morning, still fog and we only have a little sunrays.

Before heading back, we took the shot that we came for.

And our group shot. =)

Heading home.

We had our prenups at Puerto Galera. It was when typhoon Egay hits the country, although it was far from Galera we’ve experienced the so-called southwest monsoon or “habagat”. The boat ride going to Galera was freakin’ shaky! Big waves left and right along with the hard rain. During prenups, we’re kinda’ pressed for time because we need to take the 4:30 PM Roro ride back to Batangas City — the only ride going home.
Anyway, here are some shots we’ve made inspite of the rain. In relation, we are giving away a second prenups to Melchor and Irene. =)

Puerto Galera was dark and cloudy.

The available light was perfect though.

Photo shows how much they missed each other. Right Toto?

Shoreline waves.

Smile lang habang umaambon. =)

At nung umulan, nakahanap kami ng masisilungan.

I like this shot, tells me how the long-distance-relationship works.

It’s been a long 6 couples in 8 days but we enjoyed each and every shoot in SG. Anyway, we were not able to fully thank everyone and appreciate all the help we had in Singapore. Some shoutouts to:
The 6 couples for making it happen: Rommel and Faye, Barry and Ann, Joel and Steph, Edwin and Elenore, Rommel and Rara, Richie and Karen. Salamat sa memorable experience! Nice meeting you all.
DA and Candy for our accommodation. It was indeed a big help, wala kaming masabi pare! DA for the tiger beer sessions. Salamat din for the assistance. We owe you!
Joel and Steph, Richie and Karen, and Faye for the cheeeeesy crab before our flight back to Manila. We wished to hangout with you longer kaso wala ng oras. Anyway, we had fun on our last group photo shoot. =)

Our last couple, Richie and Karen. We went to Jurong Bird Park in the morning, Chinese Garden in the afternoon, Sentosa on sunset, and Marina Bay/Esplanade in the evening. So sorry I got very late posting the photos, I heard Karen and even Richie’s relatives were constantly checking out the site for the photos. Anyway, I’ll hand the CD’s over to Rommel/Faye when they get back to Singapore. =)

At Jurong Bird Park.

At Chinese Garden.

The entire trip we have not been blessed with a sunset.

This is the closest we had.

Smiles.

This was shot Sunday, before we left Singapore, we had a mini group photo session at Botanic Garden. Not to waste the Gazebo spot we manage to add some shots for Richie and Karen. =)

It’s Friday. We’ve been here for a week now. We’ll be going home na this Sunday night, ang bilis! It’s been a week of walking and ofcourse shooting. Hearing one couples story (in Singapore) to another was really inspiring. I must say that we’ve got to know each and everyone of them. We’ve also learned how it was to live and work in Singapore. If I am not into weddings today I might have ended up here because of the IT opportunities and besides many of my Philweaver buddies were already here.
Anyway, Richard, Jo Anne and I enjoyed the everyday walking, MRT, food, Esplanade, window shopping hehe, and ofcourse the country itself, uniquely Singapore talaga! Too bad we’ll miss the National Day Celebrations on August 8-12. But then again, we’d love to go back here again for prenups, ahem ahem!
Btw, here are some of the photos of Edwin & Elenore, Rommel & Rara.

It’s been raining here in Singapore and unfortunately I have a flu, BUT so far it’s been great! Here are some of the shots from the first 3 prenups we’ve had so far… Rommel and Faye, Barry and Anne, Joel and Steph. They were all very nice and easy to work with. Our heartful thanks for the warm welcome, AND the spicy foods! hehe. =)

I love SG’s logo, nice branding overall! That’s Joel and Steph in the background.

Barry and Anne at Botanic Garden, parang backdrop sa koreanovelas, the color of the leaves nailed it!

Watchout for the remaining of the prenups, I will be posting them as soon as we finish. I will also make a slideshow for the SG prenups (in random).
